1. General provisions
Kirich Forum is the community of readers of the kirich.blog electronics blog: reviews and tests, repair, circuit design, microcontrollers, DIY builds and shopping from China. The forum and the website share one account, so these rules apply to everything you do on the forum, and sanctions for breaking them apply to your whole kirich.blog account.
By signing up or posting you accept these rules, the Terms of use and the Privacy policy. Not knowing the rules does not exempt anyone from following them.
2. Respect and tone
- Address other members respectfully. Insults, humiliation, personal attacks, harassment and threats are forbidden.
- Hate speech based on nationality, religion, gender or any other characteristic is not allowed.
- Criticise the idea, not the person. If you disagree, bring arguments, measurements, schematics or links to documentation.
- Do not start political quarrels or post war propaganda — this is a technical forum.
3. Topics and posts
- One topic — one question. Create the topic in the matching section and search first: the answer may already exist.
- The title must explain the point: device model, symptom, goal. Moderators may rename titles like “Help!!!”.
- For repair questions give the model and board revision, what you have already checked, voltage readings, photos of both sides and the schematic if you have it.
- The main language of the forum is Ukrainian. You may write in English or Russian: topic titles and summaries are translated into the other forum languages automatically.
- Do not write in capitals, do not duplicate one post in several sections and do not bump topics with empty replies.
- Quote only the part you answer, not the whole post. Put code and logs inside the [code] tag.
- If a reply solved your problem, mark it as the “Solution” so others find the answer faster.
4. Safety first
Many discussions involve 230 V mains, switching power supplies, lithium batteries, lasers and heating elements. Therefore:
- if your advice involves dangerous voltage, high current or fire risk, always say so;
- do not recommend bypassing protection (fuses, thermal cut-offs, BMS) without explaining the consequences;
- moderators may add a warning to or hide advice that is a direct threat to health or property.
All advice on the forum is given voluntarily by members and without any warranty. Decisions about repairs or modifications are yours alone.
5. What is forbidden
- Spam, advertising, referral and affiliate links outside the dedicated sections, and self-promotion that adds nothing to the discussion.
- Pirated software, keys, cracks and ways to bypass licences or copy protection.
- Malware and instructions for breaking into other people’s devices and accounts.
- Publishing other people’s personal data (addresses, phone numbers, documents) without their consent.
- Pornography, violence and other content unsuitable for a general audience.
- Fraud, fake reviews, reaction farming, multiple accounts and impersonating another person or the administration.
- Any material that breaks the law or the rights of third parties, including copyright.
6. Marketplace, services and coupons
- Buy, sell and swap listings belong only in “Flea Market”, services — in “Jobs & Services”.
- State the price, condition, city and shipping method. Shops may post listings only with the administration’s approval.
- The administration is not a party to deals and does not guarantee them. Use safe payment methods and report fraud to the moderators.
- In the coupons section post only valid codes and state their conditions and expiry date.
7. Links and external resources
Links to kirich.blog open directly in a new tab. All other external links on the forum automatically open through the urlik.xyz short-link service — this protects members from swapped addresses and lets us remove a harmful link quickly. Do not disguise links and do not use third-party shorteners.
8. Moderation
- Moderators may edit, move, lock or delete topics and posts that break the rules and may issue warnings.
- For repeated or serious violations an account can be banned temporarily or permanently. Because the account is shared, a ban on the forum also applies to kirich.blog, and a ban on the website applies to the forum.
- Do not discuss moderators’ actions in topic sections. You can appeal a decision through the contact form or in the “Forum Feedback & Help” section.
- Report violations with the “Report” button next to the post — it is faster than replying in the topic.
9. Changes to the rules
We may update the rules as the community grows. The current version is always available on this page, and significant changes are announced in “News & Announcements”.
Still have questions? Write to the administration through the contact form.
