1. Who processes the data
Data of forum.kirich.blog members is processed by the Kirich Blog team (www.kirich.blog). The forum and the website share one account, so profile data is stored on both platforms and synchronised between them.
2. What data we process
- Account data: login, email, avatar, registration date, interface language, time zone and profile settings.
- Astrina ID sign-in data: the provider name (Google, Apple or Telegram), the technical account identifier at that provider, and the name and email if the provider shares them. We never receive your Google, Apple or Telegram password.
- Your content: topics, posts, attachments, reactions, signatures, “Solution” marks and private messages.
- Technical data: IP address when posting and in active sessions, browser type, security and moderation logs.
3. Why
- to provide the service: show your posts, send notifications and keep your settings;
- to maintain the single account shared with kirich.blog;
- to protect the forum from spam, break-ins and abuse and to handle reports;
- to understand which sections are useful, using anonymous statistics.
4. Synchronisation with kirich.blog
The website and the forum automatically synchronise account creation, login, email, avatar, bans and deletion requests. Your password is stored only on the website as a hash; the forum never sees or stores it.
5. Cookies and local storage
- The forum uses technical cookies for the session, user identification and the “Remember me” feature. Signing in is impossible without them.
- Your choice of light or dark theme is kept in your browser’s local storage.
- The forum sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Analytics
We keep our own visit statistics without cookies and without storing IP addresses. Only aggregated counters are recorded: date, page type, language, device type, a search-robot flag and the domain a visitor came from. This data cannot be linked to a specific person.
7. Third-party services
- Astrina ID (astrina.io) — sign-in with Google, Apple or Telegram.
- urlik.xyz — external links open through it; the service sees the click, like any website you go to.
- Machine translation service (MyMemory) — receives only the text of titles and summaries of public topics to translate them into the other forum languages.
- IndexNow (Bing, Yandex and others) — receives only the addresses of new public pages so they are indexed faster.
- Google Fonts and cdnjs — loading fonts and the code-highlighting library; your browser connects to Google and Cloudflare servers.
We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to advertisers.
8. Who sees your data
Public topics and posts are visible to all visitors and search engines. Your profile is shown according to your settings. Email is never published. Private messages are seen by the sender and the recipient; the administration may view them only when handling a report or protecting against abuse.
9. How long we keep data
Account data is kept while the account exists. Technical logs are kept for the limited time needed for security. After the account is deleted the profile is removed and posts stay anonymised unless you asked to delete them as well.
10. Your rights
You can get a copy of your data, correct it in your profile, restrict or object to processing, or ask for your account to be deleted. Contact us through the administration contact form or at info@kirich.blog. We reply within 30 days.
11. Security
The forum works only over HTTPS. Passwords are stored on the website only as hashes, two-factor protection is available for the account and access to administrative functions is restricted.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when services or processing methods change. The current version is always available on this page.
